This rocks! Damn I love free food.

Candied Walnuts.

%25 Sugar 

%75 Walnuts 

Pinch of salt to taste

Work fast as soon as the sugar begins to melt, it cools fast once on the Walnuts and will cause them to stick together. About half a minute is all you're going to get, so go quick and don't let them stick to each other.
Careful not to burn the nuts when toasting too.

Get your oven nice and toastie, 170c-180c is sweet.Throw the Walnuts on a shallow tray, maybe with baking paper on it, and give them 5 minutes in the middle of the oven. You'll know when they're about right.


Pop them out and cool when you think it's right.


Them melt the sugar in a pot gently, don't stop stirring it until it's all melted and the colour of lager. Biff in the nuts and mix, coating them.


Quick as, dump the whole lot onto a large sheet of baking paper, and seperate so none are touching, it'll cool really fast.


Give them a sprinkle with salt and you're done.


Sweet!
